Appointed as Masterplanners and concept designers we are acting for the redevelopment of the existing underutilised Downtown site at Grantham with the introduction of a 220,435 sq ft Designer Outlet Centre. The scheme builds upon an existing 25 acre retail site to be a catalyst for a wider 75 acre Masterplan, to form a new Northern Gateway to Grantham and the wider Lincolnshire area while introducing a New station and park & ride facility. The Designer Outlet proposals include for new retail units, restaurants and cafes with storage and retail use at first floor level and complimentary leisure units, customer toilets and amenities.
In the wider scheme it is proposed to reconstruct an existing garden centre on a more compact footprint, complemented by a big box retail unit. Above these units is a High-Tech Hub / Start-Up Offices and to the East of the site will be a standalone training academy for use by the Grantham community.
