We were originally appointed as architects for John Lewis Bluewater when the store opened in 1999. From the outset, the building was designed with future flexibility in mind and the structure had the scope for further retail expansion. We subsequently returned in 2009 to carry out a major refurbishment of the shop, extend it and add a foodhall in the basement.
